Tbf maybe people aren't visiting reddit as much because they can't open or view anything from the search engine without an account? And if you make an account you're gonna get randomly banned sitewide a week later for existing wrong?
Is this currently being rolled out? I just tried with a generic search and "reddit" and it let me pull up a few threads.

That's what the other guy said. Don't have the patience to sit looking at a reddit thread for that long. XD
Yeah, a number of people have been saying they can still get on but Reddit is definitely doing this. It appears to be getting rolled out in some kind of A/B distribution.
Gotcha. I sort of figured so, but didn't know exactly how old the news was.
My phone can only open a reddit thread for less than a minute before it locks up and asks for an account.
Oh, lol, I didn't linger long. I was just curious. Maybe what happens to me too.
