Should probably pull down a copy of Project Gutenberg too.
Maybe there's something of human output worth saving. If only so more fortunate future generations, should any exist, can pinpoint where shit went wrong.
I don't think there was a single, specific, event, but i'd wager mid-to-late 90s and early 00s.
You're right. Project Gutenberg wouldn't have anything from that period and wouldn't be useful.
