A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

My state has a framework for at-home daycare operations, but good luck finding one that's not already at capacity. I've heard of other states scrapping their programs or not creating one to begin with, citing imagined "potential for abuse".
It's always easier to just sit on your hands instead of improving things, and "think of the children" does an insane amount of heavy lifting while managing to hurt the very children and families it claims to protect.
Yeah people fall for it. Hell, look at the mass downvoting of my comment here.
I'm a leftist myself, but folks on the left are just as vulnerable to knee jerk reactionary thinking as conservatives. They see someone saying that regulations can be bad, and their mind immediately jumps to the conclusion, "THIS PERSON MUST BE A REPUBLICAN!!!" and all thought ceases.
Regulations can just as easily be a tool of big business as they are a tool to protect the public. And the easiest way for governments to take away people's rights or for big business to stifle competition via regulation is "think of the children."
