Share your favorite movie (and other motion picture media) details, potentially with a shitty twist.
To be clear, this is a place for satirical and meta^2^ references. Not really the actual movie details, unless they're truly stupid or have strong meme potential/background. "Oh hai Mark" kind of stuff. Tho sometimes even these can span a good debate.
For maximum funni, include full name of the movie, its release date and all the detail right in the title of the post.
Try to avoid actual shit and other nasty stuff. Mark nsfw when appropriate.

I havent seen it yet but just hoping it's not too American. I watched Troy again recently and forgot how hard it was to watch Americans pass off as Greeks. Like when Hollywood had John Wayne play Genghis Khan. Bad accents, light hair, light eyes, fair skin... It's hard to get immersed into the world when everyone looks like a foreigner with a moosh of bad "ancient" accents from LotR and not Greece.
The cast selection in 300, on the other hand, did a great job despite that movie being super stylised.
I don't think you'll find it that jarring at all. I'm from the US, but it's not an invisible effect for me. The casting is pretty varied for this kind of movie. Not full of Greeks, but not full of super Anglo WASPy people either.
It's aight. A fun action movie that has the events from the books. Left out the funniest cyclops interaction, but I guess that was the tone he was going for. It is more of a movie about the events that happen to the guy rather than him using his wits to navigate the events, so it falls short of the book there.
Nolan also managed to be offensive with the bhuomp noise. Once or twice is annoying, more than that and my girl was holding her ears.
