Even if your teeth are indestructible, not having brushed your teeth in the morning still tastes bad.
Only until you eat breakfast. Brushing your teeth before you eat is like wiping your butt before you poop.
Not only that but this is also a scene from when she was on a planet with a red Sun so therefore her body was reactive to decay.
If you want to interact with normal people, you don't want your mouth smelling like a dead corpse.
