"We have reached an agreement in principle for Sam to return to OpenAI as CEO with a new initial board of Bret Taylor (Chair), Larry Summers, and Adam D'Angelo.

We are collaborating to figure out the details. Thank you so much for your patience through this."

Summary of what happened:

Two women got emotional and wanted to kick out Sam, Adam was like sure my 2 startups will benefit from screwing OpenAI, Ilya was a naive idealist that was convinced easily not even thinking about the consequences. Microsoft was like dude, I gave you 10B to screw everything? I OWN YOU. Employees were like you screw OpenAI then we go to Microsoft. Two women can't handle the pressure and resign. Sam goes back.
