Couldn't agree more. If you have a problem with alcohol, you avoid it. If you have a problem with eating meat, you avoid it. If you have a problem with gluten, you avoid it. If you have a problem with certain Lemmy users or instances, guess what? You avoid them.
Doesn't mean everyone else has to do the same. It's about taking personal responsibility for your own mental health and peace of mind. This was always allowed, it was part of the design right from the start.
