Hi all,

I live in the UK and have been wanting to get a smart power strip, the issue is all of the ones I have come across have short cable lengths, I am looking for one that is around 2m.

I really like the look of the Kasa plug, it has a surge protector, seems reliable and the app looks good. The only issue is the cable length is too small for me.

I could just use an extension cable and plug the power strip into that but I heard its a bad idea and could cause a fire.

So are there any decent smart power strips with a longer cable? I will only be using the app (or google home) to turn plugs on so it doesn't need to look good etc. 2-3 plugs is all I need really.

Thanks in advance.

Single plug extension cables, any length you need. Very little extra fire risk.
