I created the concept, I did the modelling, it's a completely novel design for a product that does not exist.

For export (for example to the EU), where do I say it's made?

My understanding is that at least 50% of value needs to be added in the UK for 'Made in UK' labelling for advertising and customs.

Does that count if all the design work and innovation was done in the UK by me, but all the actual manufacturing is done in China?

I feel like I've done way more than 50% of the work, getting the product to the stage it is at.

I assume that means I can label it 'Made in UK' for customs for export?

It’s made in China, otherwise Apple would say iPhones are made in California from all the software and design that goes into it
