I am talking about a healthy economy with full time high wage jobs for those who want them, and low wage casual employment for those who want this type of employment. A functioning economy requires both, in order for everything to be affordable. If every job is high wage, then the cost of living becomes so extreme the high wage earners are actually in poverty because even with the high wage they cannot afford what they need. Inflation always balances out everything.
