How is DPRK isolationist? Is Cuba also "isolationist"? Is Iran "isolationist"? How about Yemen? And for that matter, Palestine?

What you call isolationism, most of the world call unilateral sanctions and war.

I've read somewhere (which means it's highly reliable) that they're trying to work in isolation to be self-sufficient, is that wrong?

It's true they value self-sufficiency but that does not imply isolationism, DPRK is perfectly happy to maintain friendly international relations and trade.

If anything is to be said than that the DPRK worked towards self sufficiency, which I guess people slander as isolationism. If a country suffers because of sanctions cutting them off, sometimes westerners can feel sorry for them but god forbid they help them selves.

Exactly right. It's never solidarity, at most pity. Same with all the "pro-Palestine" folks who condemn the resistance.

It is part of their believe that the system is all right but that there is, unfortunately the wrong personnel in charge... Which in turn makes life here much easier. People I know chose to believe this because of how comfortable it is. Not that anyone would admit it.

True. If I can ask for it, can you help by editing the meme? I did not make it, got it on reddit.

Or which font is the one used in the image?

[–] culpritus@hexbear.net 7 points 1 week ago (2 children)

got u (it seems like a slightly thinner ComicSans font, or maybe there was some filter on it)

Thank you

I made a variant too

Just remove the reference to nepotism and it's good to go.
