They can try. I know number I'm looking for to move jobs. I won't move for a paycut. If they want me in the office, they need to pay more.

I'm in the UK. So much less easy to get fired.

Plus, I'm good and they won't be the only company I'm talking to.

What? Not sure how you interpreted it that way. The point was I maintain my skills and there will be competition so if they low ball me, they can keep looking.
