- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

His argument is essentially a "big tent" middle finger to progressives. It's impossible to earn the support of progressives and MAGA simultaneously.
You think that quote means he wants "maga" to vote D?!
Setting the goal at earning the support of "every region, every demographic, every generation" implies that the party will bend its platform to suit the xenophobic and transphobic interests of right-wing voters who might vote for a Democrat willing to vote right-wing on key issues, such as passing anti-trans legislation, avoiding any criticism of Israel, and supporting the continued existence of ICE. This is most evident when looking at the platforms of Democrats from swing states such as Ohio and Pennsylvania.

It means to win a national election, we need to get votes from different demographics. And not just cater to the wealthy.
Do you disagree that one of the party's biggest flaws under neoliberalism was that they catered to the rich and ignored the working class and those in poverty?

Every potential dem voter that shows up in the primary, influences who it is in the general....
The Democratic Party has consistently shown that it is willing to bend on issues such as immigration to attract center-right voters to its platform. Leading Ohio Democrats have committed to anti-trans legislation for the same reason; what guarantee is there that the broader Democratic Party won't try the same in an attempt to draw votes away from MAGA?

You pay more attention to who you give your info too. You don't say any activism is bad and spend all your time advocating against any form of activism...
That's what you're doing, I know you're not going to understand this, but there's no other way I can think of that may work.
There's nothing 'vague' about it; you posted a quote of the DNC chair communicating the national Democratic Party's strategy for the type of candidate they would prefer to be chosen for the 2028 presidential election, and I replied how that preference elevates the interests of predominantly xenophobic rural voters over those of progressives. Choosing conservative South Carolina as the bellwether for the primary season indicates that they want another compromise candidate that will draw center-right voters away from MAGA. This effort is also clearly visible in how the Democratic Party adjusts its platform in swing states to cater to right-wing voters.
In a two-party system where the Democratic Party is the only viable platform for progressive policies at the national level, primary voters must reject this effort by the DNC and instead choose a progressive that will not only undo all of the shit Trump has unleashed upon the country, but push for progressive reforms as well. The same effort must be made for congressional elections as well, or much of Trump's legacy will be allowed to remain.

I'm hearing more and more about most Americans wanting to keep it this way. I just can't find articles that back it up. But I've seen it when telling someone you're voting for a dictator and get laughed at is telling (and stupid on their part). Fortunately, they're moving idiots (for a better school when the DoE is gone and they have no clue).
