At this point it’s nearly a sure thing Paul’s team will lose when Foster refs. Someone with the time please track when these games are coming up so this sub can collectively cash in

I just made a comment in another thread lmao. I did the math based off of what data was available to me, and found that the most recent 9 games of that 13 game playoff losing streak had a 0.0000283498% chance of happening, which is roughly 1/34500. So if you simulated the exact games, with the exact same odds, 34,500 times, the result that we ended up with would happen once. That excludes the oldest 4 games, which I couldn't find odds for, and even if the other team was heavily favored this would still drop pretty significantly. The assumption here in the math is that all data points are independent from one another. This is like, intro to statistics level math and I acknowledge that it's probably not the most accurate predictor of reality, but I'm bored on Thanksgiving morning so cut me some slack.
