I don't understand why people can't see the difference between making Nick Fury black and making Nelson Mendela white. Are people really this stupid?
Cleopetra? Anyone?
This dude is reposting the "End Wokeness" account, so yea, he is that stupid.
Cry about it
End wokeness says someone who probably believes Jesus was white.
In fairness they recently cast a black woman to play Ann Boleyn. So that’s every bit as bad as making Nelson Mandela white would be.
The conservative brain is incapable of comprehending nuance
Yes. They all missed the point of this episode
Pretty sure they've race swapped some historical figures as well, not just marvel characters.
Technically MCU Nick Furry is based of the Marvel Comic Ultimate universe (Earth-1610) Nick Furry, who was made to look like Samual Jackson. This was well before MCU was a thing. Marvel Entertainment Studios talked about establishing the MCU as far back as 2006, Marvels ultimate universe first issue was in 2000 and Furry made his debut in that series in 2002.
Disney didn’t acquire rights to Marvel and most characters until 2009. White Nick Furry is from a different Marvel comic series (ie different Universe)
I'm sorry but I would LOVE to watch a multiversal variant of Nick Fury that's a Furry
Yes. They are.
Yes
Sometimes you have to really reach to manufacture rage
Based on OP's post here, yes. People are really that stupid.
People see their comic book characters with more importance than they see Mandela
Jesus Christ lmao
No, they already made him white
They made Anne Boleyn black. Thats just like making Nelson Mandela white.
Race swapping a white historical figure is the same as making a political prisoner and champion of black rights in apartheid South Africa a white person? You don't seem to get it either. Yes making any historical figure race swapped is bad (hello, white Jesus), but this is still just as ignorant as the meme.
