I think that would probably be Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, although I haven't finished it.
I've never read anything quite as horrible or with a unreliable narrator that justifies his behaviour this hard. The story keeps getting worse too. There's no clear hope for a long stretch.
If you don't know the narrator, Humbert Humbert, is the pedophile who goes after the twelve year old Dolores Haze, whom he calls Lolita.
