Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

that's what an ideal union is
Exceeeeppppptttt when the union in question is full of members who's job it is to put people in cages like animals, most of the time without need. Also when a side effect of the job of the members is murder of innocent civilians and protesters.
that isn't relevant to the quality of the union, it juat makes the entire job evil
I have to disagree with you here, you can't group police unions described in my last comment to, say, coal miner unions which got the miners and their families paid in US dollars, got them out of broken down and expensive company housing, raised their wages to living levels, and generally raised generations of entire regions out of poverty before the mines were automated or shut down.
ETA: Also, other types of unions don't terrorize civilians when they don't vet their way, other types of unions hurt the BOSSES and capitalists and are generally integrated into the community, not trying to lord over it.
