Apple Lightning didnt provide any improvement (alien.top)

I have kingston's hyperx ii and this headphone's dongle provides better sound than apple's dongle, also motherboard sounds better than apple's dongle too.

In this situation does that mean hyperx ii's dongle has better dac than apple's ?

I was thinking buying fiio's K3 but im feeling like that wont provide any better dac too.

My ears are very sensitive and i play with equalizers often.

Dongles won’t change much, they’ll either provide sufficient power or not, but in this case I’m guessing you are mixing up volume with “cleanliness”. The Apple dongle has been known to not be as loud when using it one other devices that aren’t apple, there are ways to bypass it on android but I’m not sure about pc.

Yes sound is lower, but even when i equalize both sounds from hyperx dongle and apple dongle, apple one is more muddy.

Im definetly aware of the danger going down dac/amp path, thats why wanted to try this cheap dongle first, i guess i will buy Akg K361 or something instead going to dac route.
