Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
Don't promote proprietary software
Try to keep things on topic
If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

Anybody know of anything else that would be quite wise to purchase sooner than later, due to potential (or incoming) regulation that would be regarded as privacy-infringing to enforce? I was thinking about this because I've been pondering a high-quality 3D printer purchase for this reason.

Advice for varying levels of budget would be quite nice, too; I partially intend on this being a post people may want to revisit.

Purchase pre-LLM era physical books on foraging, cooking, home and auto repair, electronics, child care, etc.

Get E-books released right around 2022 (but not after) on Anna's Archive if your money is low. It's important that the info is somewhat fresh. A lot has changed since the 1980s

If your car is from the 90s then a book on car repair from the 90s will do.

True, but books about nutrition absolutely should cite the best available science.
