I just wondered if I could find examples in the wild so I searched for "grocery price tags". Didn't have to look much to find an example:

Oh, this is why. Maybe i just was to biased to not use this search prompt, or and also that unlike in us, in my country food is not measured in count, but always in grams or mililiters. Thanks for explanation.
