For clarification, the age of consent being 16 in Oklahoma doesn't mean a 40 year old can fuck a 16 year old. I read somewhere earlier today that the law is written in such a way that it covers 18 year olds with 16 or 17 year old partners. Not really sure the specifics but that seems reasonable to me.

Also, I just looked at a map and it's 16 in about half of the US. Not sure if all the laws are the same as they are in Oklahoma it's worth mentioning that Oklahoma is by no means some bucktooth outlier like you are implying.
