The rate at which the climate gets worse will only get worse as well, even if we had a wand to get 0 emissions by tomorrow. It will only be worse if they ever leave. Being buried alive doesn't seem great.

They should find a way to fix the mess they made.

Assuming they don't, I find a very small glimmer of justice/schadenfreude in thinking of the worst of them being buried alive. Thanks for that.
