Wasn't he at a club, so how is that the case? Do you go to the club to pick up high school sophomores?

Depends on the state. Some states you can enter clubs with someone 21 or older as a minor, you just get a marker on your hand so bar tenders know you can’t buy alcohol.

You still have to be 18, you just can’t drink if you’re under 21 and they put a marker on your hand so the bartender won’t serve you
