No big deal if they don't manage to make EAC work on Linux for all usage cases. Fortnite itself still refuses to support Linux, and if that's the case, why would Epic bother to port its Game Store there?

Technically EAC already works via Proton, can even already spy on Linux via Symlinks to access the entire file system and monitor active processes.
