It's the same reason why any US military adventurism in Canada is extremely stupid. We know you fucks too well, much better than you know us. We know exactly how to hurt you and you're too arrogant to even think we can.
You don't invade a country where they all are better educated than you, have better wealth equality than you, look and talk exactly like you, and have an endless supply of ANFO. It would be the troubles 10x and we can send fully equipped sabotage raids basically anywhere in your homeland. The border is too large to defend.
