The program's stated purpose is to identify people who may have already committed crimes, according to 404 Media. But the outlet reported finding no instances of that happening. Instead, it reported that the program appears to generate pretexts for police to stop and search people, raising questions about whether the stops meet the legal standard of probable cause. [...] "genuine probable cause cannot be synthetically generated," adding that Border Patrol appeared to be using "parallel construction" to conceal the real reason for its stops.

pretext= skin color, political affiliation, everyone not voting for REPUBLICANs, a woman of child bearing age, also will target LOW income areas more than a wealthy or upper middle class neighborhood.

We could add to that the fact that federal agents have no jurisdiction in the constitution outside of interstate commerce inside the US.

That the contention that they don't need warrants or cause to search anything within 100 miles of any border, land, maritime, or crucially International Airport (90% of the population is within that area,) is unconstitutional.

Obviously that doesn't matter now in the courts, and our democrats won't restore that part of the constitution if they get back in power even if things really go sideways.
