I mean that’s fair but at the same time I think it’s fair to ask at what point do you draw the line? Especially in this case where the abuse wasn’t a one time thing and he went and violated the restraining order right after. It doesn’t feel like he’s really taken any steps to change or make a positive difference which is tough to do when it seems like the league and his friends are just enabling him by acting like it’s no big deal.
This would cross the line for me easily especially since Bridges hasn't really shown any signs if contrition but I can get behind that guy's take on a general level.
But in Kuzma's case, if you're taking what Bridges did seriously and holding him accountable, you're also not publicly tweeting "special" "fam" "brother" "love" "❤❤❤❤" to him while he's in headlines for domestic violence and child abuse.
I don't think anyone can read this tweet and honestly believe that is the scenario here.

Maybe kuzma sees a lifelong friend who might be in a dark place right now and thinks some unconditional public love from familiar faces might be exactly what Bridges needs to avoid slipping into an even darker place.
Idk, but neither do you. And casting these type of judgments when you literally do not know WTF is going or the nature of people's relationships is super weird.
What’s super weird is that you don’t have the wherewithal to understand that a public figure showing public support for a wife abusing, child abusing piece of gutter trash is always a bad look. It’s not overly judgmental to think that, pretty normal actually.

You realize that when someone becomes a “public figure” they don’t just have some magic switch that goes off in their brain that now causes them to view every single action they take thru the lense of being a “public figure”, right?
Basketball players don’t just all of a sudden think to themselves “oh I’m a public figure now so I should speak to my friends differently than I did before because people might take some message the wrong way”
Then text him? Kyle “young socialite” Kuzma is a man who loves attention and is fully aware that he has a ton of eyes on his tweets. You’d have to be a grade-a idiot to believe that he isn’t aware of the attention his social media gets. What’s more likely- that Kuz is legitimately dumb enough to forget that the public can see his tweets, or that he’s dumb enough to not realize this was a bad look?
