Players always support players , I don’t think they really look into what happened most times . It’s like this eith sbythjng ; listened to old players defending hardens antics with a clear player bass view. They’re prob of the opinion they get dealt with false accusations or something . It’s shitty but it’s a brotherhood/a union looking out for each other . On the same time I’m conflicted because ultimately I do want to believe in redemption and using laws to rehabilitate folk over punitive punishment, so I don’t know what I think. They’ve known each other way before the league. They grew up playing at the same y.
So at what point is the line drawn to cut off someone you knew way before the league and grew up and played at the same Y with because clearly pleading no contest to one felony count of causing harm to a parent of a child and two felony counts of child abuse isn’t it.

What miles bridges did was horrible, disgusting, shitty, and honestly he shouldn’t be back in the league.
But are his friends (Kuzma is his childhood friend) just supposed to abandon him? Friends are supposed to be the ones that hold you accountable when you fuck up, but that doesn’t mean abandoning you.
Miles bridges hitting a woman doesn’t equate to him not being allowed to have friends and loved ones ever again.
I mean that’s fair but at the same time I think it’s fair to ask at what point do you draw the line? Especially in this case where the abuse wasn’t a one time thing and he went and violated the restraining order right after. It doesn’t feel like he’s really taken any steps to change or make a positive difference which is tough to do when it seems like the league and his friends are just enabling him by acting like it’s no big deal.
What steps would he have to take to make it right in your eyes
Just about anything other than immediately violating his restraining order to throw pool balls at his victims car and further abuse her in front of his children probably would’ve been a good start.
I don’t think it’s that hot of a take to day he’s pretty far from redemption at this point. We’ve all seen with Mike Vick what someone can do if they actually want to take steps to try and atone for their past.

If he was his actual friend and not just an enabler he would hold him accountable and given that he has refused to even atone for what he did and continued to terrorize the mother of his kid, as a friend, I would stop being his friend. I wouldn’t want to be associated to this kind of piece of subhuman garbage.
