I admit complete and total ignorance on this. So bear with me. Correct me everywhere and anywhere so I learn.

Didn't beehaw disconnect from the fediverse?

I'm seeing more posters and responses from other instances. I post an essay over on Lemmy and it automatically, or offers, to cross post to Beehaw. Have I just been blind and this is always as it was?

I'm confused and just want to learn.
