the siblings were transferred to Cohen Children’s Medical Center in stable condition. The boy sustained a fractured skull, while his sister had minor injuries.

anyone know if the driver was jailed pending charges and whatnot for reckless driving resulting in bodily harm?

"The driver was issued a summons for failure to yield to pedestrians." Source

Note that the charges can be added to or modified at any time. The cops probably (hopefully) didn't get the camera footage until later.
