Like what? I didn't know they were this good, the definition even with crappy aac is super good and you can hear every single instrument clearly, I knew people said they were good but I'm surprised apple cared so much about sound quality

The importance of the codec is vastly, vastly overrated. It's just a marketing thing.

Frequency response is what matters.

Exactly. Too many bois here will say headphones sound better just because they’re louder
