The key for me has been becoming that support system for myself; the game is about perspective. Our subconscious heavily mirrors how we habitually perceive this world. Our subconscious is, in some sense, our inner child as the conscious brain only entirely becomes active after age 7. As such, reprogramming the subconscious mind can play a vital role in becoming your “highest self”.
Some methods that have worked for me in terms of heightening motivation:
Anchoring Effect: you can consciously induce feelings of motivation, love, gratitude, peace, etc by associating it with a sensory anchor such as fragrance, touch, music, etc. I’d recommend looking into it. You could literally induce heightened motivation by tapping your wrist twice (if that is the anchor you select when reprogramming)
Self Fulfilling Prophecy: when you concretely ingrain an expectation or belief, it subconsciously influences behavior and thus environment, causing the belief to actually come true. Similar to the Pygmalion effect. As such, I’d recommend incorporating affirmations literally absolutely everywhere you can. The more you hype yourself up, the more it registers and becomes habitual in your subconscious.
Celebrate yourself. Positive reinforcement is a key driver of enhanced motivation. If you are celebrating yourself, you will be more inclined to see the world celebrating you.
