The Grizzlies went on an 11-3 run coming out of this timeout, so I think he succeeded in firing them up to some extent. But it was too little, too late.

Memphis should just complete the circle and trade Smart to Milwaukee. He would start day one.

Yeah I don’t know much about the contract situation but if that trade could happen in any way Smart would help Milwaukee get out of the bottom defensively for sure.

He'd probably be a Celtics killer too. Letting the spite fuel him in to making like 6 threes a night in those matchups
