First, this isn't a marketing post.

If you are a rural/agri entrepreneur in tourism, how do you get customers? What marketing did you do to get your first few customers?

You gotta gave something to offer. Say you live somewhere where cannabis is legal then you offer some sort of cannabis tours. I do not know the legality of this just giving an example. I live in Indianapolis, it sucks and doesnt have much to offer in the way of beautiful mountains, oceans, etc. People like to come to the Indy 500 so maybe I would offer some sort of Indy 500 tour. Gotta make due with what you have around you
