Times were different back then and nobody outside of the town where Malone went to college to probably knew about that story. Now with social media stories can spread fast, Malone’s dirt didn’t really come out til his son tried to get into the NFL iirc

It was not long enough that pregnant at 12 and giving birth at 13 is just something you wave off from a 20 year old.
