I mean couldn't they just limit what countries could apply for said nomad visa or put a cap threshold on how many nomad visas can be allocated to a specific country?

Are there any DN visas that say no Chinese are allowed to apply? It seems like a diplomatic nightmare.

Yeah that would probably be more backlash than it's worth, but they could probably put a cap on the number of applicants from each country. I know the US has set caps for each country on how many people born there can get a green card each year.

There actually is, but only if your passport is issued from Hong Kong (they're technically Chinese citizens).
