“Before the game started yesterday, there was a fan behind our bench, who was making life threatening remarks towards us and our families. We asked Philadelphia security to remove the fan, but he was allowed to stay for the entire game."

If he was a fan, and not a player, I'd describe this as your average day at Lincoln Field as an away fan.

That doesn't justify it though.

Assholes like these people continue to exist and be assholes because most of the rest of us turn a blind eye and try to ignore them.
