It was only a Guess, it was only a Guess.
But this fashion watch was my first watch. It was a gift from my father. It's the one that got me into the rabbit hole of watch collecting when the bracelet broke down after 9 years and I missed a link and I can not replace it with a new strap because it has no lugs so I had to get a new watch. And I did get a new watch, and then some more. But I think I'm done now. I think I have got all the bases covered. And here are the watches in my collection, in chronological order.
Guess
I don't know the reference number, or the model's name. Your Guess is as good as mine. I had a replica of the link I missed made at a local watchmaker so I can wear the watch again. I'm going to keep this watch forever. It has day, date, and 24 hour subdials. The date subdial is currently not working though.
G-Shock Casioak GA-B2100-3A
The watch I bought for my outdoor activities. I needed a watch with 200m water resistance to go swimming in rivers.
Seiko 5 Sports SRPK29
I don't dive, I barely swim, but I have always wanted a diver for its rotating bezel. I'm fidgety.
Orient Bambino 38 RA-AC0M08Y
I gave my previous dress watch, a Seiko Presage Gimlet (which was really cool btw, I liked it a lot) to my sister's boyfriend because he also likes watches. So I need a new dress watch. And I got lucky. I found out about this limited edition release through Orient's official Instagram account, and apparently no one else did, so I managed to get one in copper color. One out of 360 released. It's a shame that they're not numbered.
Swatch Shades Of Neon SO28J700
I bought this one to commemorate Black Friday 2023.
I need them to time my laps. If it’s good enough for The Michael, it’s good enough for me.
