I’ve been on the road for +2 years and I’m starting to wonder if I should insure my big ticket items (computer, camera, expensive jewelry, etc).

I know some home and rental insurance policies in the US cover these items, but as a full-time traveler, I’m not sure I qualify for these plans.

Is there a certain insurance product that covers these items? I know tracker insurance covers these items during transit, but I’m looking for something to insure these items full-time.

Thanks for all the help!

Insuring high-value items while traveling is important, especially for long-term travelers. One option to consider is a travel insurance policy that includes coverage for personal belongings. These policies are designed for travelers and can cover items like computers, cameras, and jewelry. Another option is specialized gadget insurance, which specifically covers electronic devices. It's key to read the fine print to understand the coverage limits and conditions. Also, for saving on travel expenses like hotel bookings, I've used Rebookify in the past, which might be helpful for you too
