Looking for opinions, pro tips and thoughts!So my situation is as follows;

working as and Account Executive for a European SaaS company. Fully remote indefinite contract with all the benefits.

My main work revolves around having some online demos, calling clients mostly over teams, occasional phone call. And mostly admin. All clients are based in Europe.

My plan is to move to SEA +6hr time zone for me. How do you all deal with the time difference. Because my working hours would be from 2PM till 10PM in Asia ( 9 to 5 EU)

Any insights are. Wry welcome or any ideas! Thanks a bunch

Speaking as an American who typically had a similar time difference when living in Europe: that’s really tough to maintain long term, unless the people you intend to socialize with are also typically going out around 10pm.

Ultimately, having a social life meant that I needed to leave work around 2pm US time, but that’s flexibility I had as the business owner.

Every situation is unique, maybe you’ll find a lifestyle that suits your schedule. But approach it as an experiment and give yourself permission to bail after a couple months if it’s not working out for you.
