With Lemmy 0.19 there are new scaled and controversial sort options, but I don't see them in the app. Is there an update coming soon to support these?

edit: it seems like it gets selected when it's the default sort option for the logged in user. There's just no way to select it in the UI.

I dunno. I use it since I can and (at least for me) it's awesome. Finally fresh posts from little communities besides the big ones, far more diversity. I love it.

I wish I got posts that weren't so old, because in theory it would be perfect to get fresh posts from smaller communities. Instead I get threads that have died months ago and any interaction would be a resurrection unlikely to get any notice.

I really don't know why that happens to you, seems odd. Maybe worth a Github issue alongside a couple of logs from your server.
