I opened the thread because I thought "dang, I bet visiting Iceland would be neat," and find out I missed the age gap by a matter of months

I didn't realize being too old would happen so early

Bah. I'm long out of the running, and also neither photogenic nor of Candidate Material.

I'll stick to tourism. Next year it may be a caravan trip around the outside.

I did a campervan trip in 2019. It was fantastic. I'd highly recommend.
