There are far worse "moral" issue going on in the world right now that we don't give a shit about.
Why is this conflict special?
China is busy actually killing off an entire ethnicity and everyone has forgotten about them.
Hey, I'm glad to hear you're concerned about the welfare of the Uyghur populations living in the Chinese Government's concentration camps. So am I. The difference between the apartheids/genocides being inflicted on the Uyghurs and the Palestinians though is that the last 3.5 months have seen most traditional Western media outlets (implicitly) condone the apartheid/genocide of Palestinians. That whitewashing and propaganda is a call to action for anyone concerned about truth, human rights, democracy, international law, etc.
May I suggest that instead of investing time nitpicking those fighting for human rights in Gaza, you join the fight for human rights in Northwest China. May your compassion and interest in world events be a source of positivity
