NHL players Michael McLeod of the New Jersey Devils and Dillion Dubé of the Calgary Flames have been charged with sexual assault related to an alleged group incident in 2018 in London, Ont., when they were members of Canada's World Junior hockey team.
McLeod's lawyers confirmed the charges Tuesday in a statement to CBC News.
Less than an hour later, Dube's lawyers, Louis Strezos and Kaleigh Davidson, confirmed charges against the native of Golden, B.C., also 25.
