Beehaw's community for socialists, communists, anarchists, and non-authoritarian leftists (this means anti-capitalists) of all stripes. A place for all leftist and labor news and discussion, as long as you're nice about it.

Non-socialists are welcome to come to learn, though it's hard to get to in-depth discussions if the community is constantly fighting over the basics. We ask that non-socialists please be respectful and try not to turn this into a "left vs right" debate forum by asking leading questions or by trying to draw others into a fight.

As Super Bowl Sunday draws near, it’s important to remember the systemic labor issues that plague the nation’s most popular sport.

You're not wrong, but these players you're talking about actually opposed the league's punishments for headhunting and bounties in the sport, which if you ask me, would seem to indicate that they're fully aware of the issues and simply don't care.

It'll be interesting in the coming years to see how many games the NFL hides behind a paywall, though. They may end up shooting themselves in the foot a little via enshittification.
