Agreed, but whether you're happy with it or not, one of them WILL be president come next year. There are a lot of other issues in the ballot that impact people's lives as well. Being a single issue voter is how systems like this ratchet up in the first place.

Agreed, thanks to fine individuals such as yourself continuing the "put your asshole right up there in the air and take it" rhetoric.

And for the record, rhetoric like that will always favor the Republican, because it makes the DNC think they are getting what they want, Reds will always vote red, and liberals will always vote (or 'vote' disenfranchised, aka not vote) conscientiously.

And for the record, I am far from a single issue voter. If you think the genocide is all that Biden has going against him, you need to get your hands on some news that isn't DNC propaganda.

Ok, so lets do this: you provide me with a realistically accomplishable path to help get biden off the ballot/not elected, without giving the house away to Trump and his sycophants, then I'll take you up on it. I've written letters, I've been at rallys, I've been at protests...etc. What else do you see me (and others like me) realistically being able to do to change the course of the election without, again, letting that dumptruck of shit that is Trump and his GOP back into positions of power?

[–] Melkath@kbin.social 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Stop shilling for Biden, sound a little more like Jon Stewart, express outrage at Biden and the current DNC regime, and make them aware they have shit the bed and that Biden will lose (because they are shitting the bed harder daily, and Biden will lose).

Then they might have some ceremonial un-sanctioning of Rashida Tlaib and someone WORTH ELECTING AS POTUS might be willing to step up to wash the soiled sheets Biden and the current DNC regime are rolling around in.

Or, instead of being a voice shilling for Biden and the DNC, be a voice to encourage individuals who are not affiliated with the DNC nor the RNC to go for it and be the solution.

You seem really set on "Biden or you're wrong" as your leading salvo, and that, my friend, leads to Trump.

This election goes to Trump by default unless DNC shills deprogram themselves, stop championing Biden, who WILL lose, and join the effort to get people to either write in a third name, or check a third box in 9 months.

A fresh new human being can be cooked up in 9 months.

A different way can be devised in 9 months.

"Well... nothing you can do, its how those 2 fascist groups rigged it hands in the air, slurp it up like a good boy", lead 100% to Trump.

Personally, I want a Democrat party worth voting for. If they could be worth voting for again, that would be SO nice. I dont believe they CAN do that though. So while I willingly offer the 5 democrats that sould have taken the 2023-2024 primaries (Bernie, AOC, Katie Porter, Ro Khanna, Rashida Tlaib), I need to call for third party to become a viable option, because I WILL NOT vote for Biden again.

I agree with your overall sentiment, except for Bernie. No more geriatrics should be running. These guys are statistically a little lucky to be alive.
