The 27 model year Land Rover BEVs will be in the vicinity of 3 tonne (6600lb). It doesn't produce tailpipe emissions but moving 3t around for one person is an extravagant use of energy, never mind the vast amount used to make the thing.
Personal ownership of a big heavy vehicle seems completely unsustainable, especially given the problem is currently mostly confined to rich industrialised nations. How is this going to work when everyone wants a car?
