Gimme that Chinese-made, $11,000 EV, like yesterday.
If they have to go through all the safety tests that the US requires that other countries don't, as well as be able to handle recalls that the US requires when a quality issue causes a safety concern, then I don't think they'll still cost $11,000.
True, but even if such tests double the price, it's still cheaper than anything else offered, what's the lowest right now, $29K?
Seriously! Fuck luxury vehicles. The everyday US resident needs affordable transportation to get around this private transit country.
