I always love these release notes. "Fixed a few modern games, and also a random title from 2004." The fact that there was someone who still cares about Warlords Battlecry III enough to verify that this fix works for it is beautiful. Old games rock.

like wine patch notes, often someone reports that an old bug on a very old product seems to have gone away at some point so it gets reported as fixed, even if it's not something that had to be specifically looked at by anybody

Newer games just aren't as good now. And there are more great old games than there are good new ones.
