Well yeah everyone was applauding that huge bill that mandated millions more acres of oil and gas extraction.
Meanwhile, the number of leased acres dropped sharply
Right, it was a 2022 bill, taking effect later.
It's going to remain incredibly low:
I like how they use words like handful, and "just three areas". Those "areas" comprise millions of acres each.
